There are many people saying: "I believe in God, and I believe in theory of evolution too. I cannot see why the two would be opposite?! After all, the Pope himself claims openly that the theory of evolution has basis to be true!"
Does somebody really believe in God, does not depend on the name he calls his God with, but on a correct knowledge (concept) about God's character. Most of the religious people has so distorted idea of God that the Holy Spirit cannot communicate with them through such an idea at all.
Could people who believe in evolution have a right idea about God?
Let us see what is the character of a god who makes the world and man through an evolution.
First of all, that kind of god is not capable of creating something perfect at once. Angels do not comment his work with a song of praise and with words: "and it was very good", but they say: "It is not good. It has to be improved! It looks indistinct! Just like some protein stain!"
Then such a god, in order to improve his work, seeks for help from a blind chance. He counts on a gamble, lottery. He has to allow a mistake on things he has already created, to succeed to make something better. In order to succeed in that, that god allows negative influences, removes the water canopy, and opens the door to the cosmic rays, in order that some "positive" mutation might appear. Then many creatures, various malformations appear, and then angels say: "Oh! This one is the best!"
Then the god creates intentionally unfavorable conditions, which are lethal for the most of the originated beings, so that only positive specimens be selected.
Watching such a deed of creation, angels are covering their faces with hands, not because they cannot stand the revealed glory of God, but because they can not watch so many organisms dying in terrible disasters, with the purpose that only the most resistant survive.
Then the angels say: "This is better, but millions of years of experimenting are needed to get the best!"
And, at last, when the creation is finished, angels are singing a song of gratefulness, not to the god, but to the holly chance which has helped the god in the creation. Then they sing to death too, because without it better specimens could not be selected.
In the meantime, man also has become. But he does not know why would he glorify and praise God. He is just cursing Him because he himself has to suffer in the struggle for survival.
But, there are nice things in life too. We believe that Adam was delighted with Eve's beauty. And then Adam thanked deeply to the holy chance and holy probability for giving him as a gift such a beautiful creature.
These are implications when one theist stands for an evolution theory. With that kind of understanding not only God's power, but His character of love are disputed, too.
We overlooked here a whole series of evolutionist mistakes. One of them is the fact that complicated species are more demanding in terms of conditions of existence, instead to be more capable for existence. If some global disaster would come, only microbes, one-celled algae and maybe cockroaches would survive. There is no need to speak about more complicated forms.
Let us suppose that a manufacturer of electronic devices decides to improve his products by "positive mutations", and throw all his products from a height of the first floor to get, by chance, "more complicated and more perfect" specimens. But, it is necessary to remove all the now third class specimens, lest they spoil the average, and therefore the company decides to throw all its products from the tenth floor, in order that only the best ones remain.
It is obvious that the most damaged equipment would be the most complicated one, because they are most probable to be damaged.
Of course, a normal man never gets such an idea, to help perfection of his products by a chance, but evolution theists attribute to God Creator such a tendency to look for help of an accidental "positive error". To create better things, God is allegedly waiting for an error to appear on the things he has already created.
To end with, evolutionary theism could be worse than atheism, for if man's idea about God is such that he sees in Him an imperfect Creator, Who looks for help of a chance and selects better organisms by mutation, illness, suffering and death, then what can we expect from such a man if his ideal is like that?
